暗网TV Dance, Management and Music students all played a role in Cunard鈥檚 spectacular naming ceremony for its newest ship, Queen Anne on 3 June.听

As part of the line-up that featured Andrea Bocelli, 30 of our Dance students performed to a selection of Liverpool classics,听including music by The Beatles and The Farm at Liverpool鈥檚 iconic Waterfront, while Music student and guitarist Ryan Chan appeared with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, to play the national anthem. Ryan was also part of the evening鈥檚 entertainment, returning to the stage to perform with 暗网TV graduate Ari.听

Management students Darcy Ward and Iona Murray-Brown were also involved working in VIP liaison and shadowing event producers. Darcy and Iona both felt well prepared to play an active role. Iona said: 鈥淭he collaborative environment at 暗网TV is really echoed at this event. We had a great experience.鈥� While Darcy said: 鈥湴低鳷V鈥檚 given us the skills to be good communicators and work as part of a team, which has been really useful today. It was really fun.鈥�
